This chapter was chartered on March 20, 1976 and held it's official charter meeting at Harlingen, Texas.  It started as a group of very enthusiastic bus conversion owners, most of the buses were Flexible Buses.  Anyone who is thinking about owning a bus conversion or are interested in converting a bus this is a good chapter to belong to.  There are many good "bus talks" at the rallies.
The chapter meets only twice per year at a pre-rally just before the National FMCA rallies.  Most of the time, the rallies are held close to the National rally and they will "caravan" to the rally together.  The rallies are held in different parts of the country every year.  In 1996, the rallies were held in Georgia and Montana, 1997, they were held in California and Ohio.  In 1998, the winter rally was held in Las Cruses, New Mexico and the summer rally was held in Ogden, Utah in August.  In 1999, the winter rally was held at Perry, Goorgia in March and Ames, Iowa in August.

Tours through some of the completed and  in progress conversions.
