About Me

I am soon 58 years old, 5'3" tall and pretty active for a grandma.  I have some gray hair but mostly dark brown. Only my hairdresser knows for sure.  I have three grown children with spouses and 11 wonderful grandchildren.
Currently, I am not looking for another mate..been there done that.  I am going to find out about myself and heal for awhile.  Learning to golf and piano lessons are on my "to do" list.

Now  that my "snowbird" wings have been clipped and I am not traveling to the South for the winter, I am enoying the winters up here in the North Country and have taken up a new winter sport...Snowmobiling.
I often pray for snow but this year I overdid it.  We had 35" in one month and therefore shoveling snow became a daily  pastime for me this year.  I may have to be careful what I pray for.  I guess I'll have to take the good with the bad.  This has been a wonderful year for  snowmobiling.  Last year, I  had to go to Michigan to get to the deep snow and spent a week there playing in the snow.

Feeding the birds in the winter is a full time job...with windchill temperatures
getting near 50 below zero, it is important to keep the feeders full so that the birds have enough food to eat to keep themselves warm.
Woodpeckers, chickadees, finches, juncos, Bluejays and Nuthatches frequently visit the feeders.  I am trying to attract Cardinals but have not had any luck yet .

A wild Tom turkey was perched on my deck last winter and this fall the Canadian Geese were abundant in my back yard.  Can you tell I like my
